Is There Anything More Precious?
Is there anything more precious? We received our November issue of the Ensign magazine this past weekend. Daughter has already found the page where the pictures of apostles are so that she can sing her song.
To the tune of "The Books In The Book of Mormon":
"Monson, Eyring, Uchtdorf, Packer;
Perry, Nelson, Oaks, Ballard;
Scott, Hales, Holland, Bednar;
Cook, Christofferson, Andersen"
These are the last names of the First Presidency and then the 12 Apostles in order of seniority. Daughter sings this non-stop. I cannot believe she remembers it from conference over a month ago. We sang it a few times to prepare during Family Home Evening, but I am just amazed. She can recognize all of these men by sight, so whenever they got up to give a talk during General Conference she correctly identified each one.
Kids are amazing. They are much more capable then we realize.
So, I ask, is there anything more precious? A child in the Nursery who can recognize all of the Church leaders.
Missing you, but glad we'll see you soon.
